Popular entrepreneur, Linus Williams Ifejirika, widely known as BLord, has reportedly been remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre following his arraignment at the Federal High Court in Abuja on April 1, 2026.
The court ordered his detention for 26 days, a development that means he will remain in custody throughout the Easter period while legal proceedings continue.
BLord is facing multiple charges, including allegations of fraud and misrepresentation. According to Martins Vincent Otse, the defendant allegedly forged flight tickets using his name and falsely claimed he was scheduled to attend a product launch in Onitsha.
Otse further alleged that BLord claimed to have paid him ₦500 million to serve as a brand ambassador and also stated that he endorsed the Billpoint app—claims he strongly denied.
He also accused BLord of producing billboards and promotional materials bearing his image without consent, falsely presenting him as an ambassador for the brand.
Otse maintained that all such claims are untrue, stressing that he has consistently made it clear across his social media platforms that he does not engage in advertising or promotional deals.
He added that he has rejected endorsement offers worth over ₦700 million in the past, as he intends to preserve his personal brand for more meaningful engagements.
