Nigerian sprinter Blessing Okagbare hopes of winning a medal at the ongoing Olympics in Tokyo has crashed after she tested positive for Human Growth Hormone.
According to the press released shared by the Athletics Integrity Unit, she is now provisionally suspended with immediate effect after samples collected contained HGH, a non-specified substance on the list of WorldAniti-Doping Agency list.
This development means Blessing will no longer participate in the Semi-finals of the Women’s 100 metres heat this evening.
