In a bid to prevent learning loss amongst pupils and students during long vacation as well as boost their retentive memory and prepare them ahead of the new academic session in September 2024, the Chairman Caretaker Committee of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area Rt.Hon. Evans Bapakaye Bipi, DSSRS, JP has approved free holiday lessons for pupils and students of Primary and Secondary Schools in the area.
The month-long summer classes will commence on Monday 5th August 2024 by 9am daily.
The venue for the students of Ogu is St. Martin’s School, Ogu while that of the pupils is Greater Evangelism Church, Ogu.
The venue for pupils and students of Bolo is Community Secondary School, Bolo.
The Ogu/Bolo CTC Chairman has also approved free instructional materials for all pupils and students to encourage participation as well as facilitate qualitative teaching and learning.
Parents and guardians are by this announcement advised to release their children and wards to take part in this crucial summer classes which aims at preparing them for academic success.
