A young autistic man, Aboy Chibuzor, whose search for a life partner was earlier publicised by the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Gift Chinyere, has tied the knot.
In a statement released on Sunday, the cleric announced that Aboy got married today to a single woman described as “a woman of God.”
The cleric, also unveiled a series of financial and welfare packages to support the newlywed couple. These include a ₦10 million wedding gift, a free house, an overseas vacation, and a pledge of ₦20 million to be given after 10 years, subject to certain conditions. Additional gifts are also expected.
Members of OPM further demonstrated solidarity, with one member donating ₦1 million and another contributing ₦200,000 toward the couple’s welfare.
According to the statement, Aboy has already shown signs of progress, as he is now able to feed himself without assistance. The cleric expressed optimism that within six months, there could be further improvements in his condition, including the ability to speak.
The development has been described by the church as a testament to faith and divine intervention, emphasizing the belief that “there is nothing God cannot do.”
