PUBLIC NOTICE!
The attention of the Asari-Toru Local Government has been drawn to the minor incident of yesternight in Buguma City which has been overblown as usual by many detractors and naysayers.
To put the record straight, the event of yesterday was duly approved by the Government of the LGA because of our firm belief in the unity, togetherness and love for one another and our Community. It was in a bid to give our people the Yuletide fun, entertainment and ensuing fanfare that informed our decision to approve the event, and we are very proud of the organisers. We have no regrets.
As usual, those who do not love good things, who thrive in demarketing our peaceful Community and LGA, strove to carry out their mischief to paint the LGA black and portray it in the bad light as they are, but they failed woefully.
The little incident of last night was nothing short of a normal disagreement amongst a handful of youths and not what is being peddled across the media and misinformed people that the A-list artist was to be kidnapped or people were shot. For the umpteenth time, NOTHING OF SUCH HAPPENED.
The Local Government wishes to first thank the security agencies in the LGA that swiftly swung into action and never allowed these recalcitrant and unscrupulous miscreants’ disagreement escalate beyond measures; and further use this medium to assure all residents and visitors of Buguma City and indeed the entire LGA that Asari-Toru Local Government Area is peaceful as usual and normal day-to-day life and activities were never disrupted.
