Director General of the Presidential Campaign Council of the People’s Democratic Party in Rivers State and a former Minister of Transport, Dr. Abiye Sekibo has said that Atiku Abubakar will win in the state in next year’s election.
Abiye, who reportedly made this known in a statement said people of the state will vote for Atiku Abubakar as he is the best candidate for the job.
According to him, Atiku has the experience and the capacity to tackle Nigeria’s problems, and that he has been tested and trusted.
Abiye who is allegedly having a running battle with Governor, Nyesom Wike for supporting Atiku described supporters of the PDP candidate in Rivers as the Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego of Today, noting that they will not bow to the gold image set up by Nebuchadnezzar.
“We are the Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego of this time. We will not bow to the gold image set up by King Nebuchadnezzar. Atiku will win Rivers State” he said.
Sekibo was an ally to Gov. Wike before pitching tenth with Atiku Abubakar who defeated Wike to clinch the party’s ticket.
