The PDP Presidential Campaign Council Media Team in Rivers State, has said that neither Peter Obi nor Atiku Abubakar has the needed toga to emerge victorious in next month’s presidential election.
The council in a statement Today described both candidates as jokers needed to give Atiku Abubakar’s victory legitimacy.
It stated that Atiku is the only candidate that has exuded signs of seriousness to win the presidential poll.
The statement reads,
TINUBU AND OBI: TWO JOKERS NEEDED TO GIVE ATIKU’S VICTORY LEGITIMACY
Having taken a critical look at political developments after the primaries in our dear country, we dare say that the only candidate that has exuded signs of seriousness to win the upcoming election is HE. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Both Obi and Tinubu are mere necessities, since every election is deemed legal and legitimate on the basis of having had other participants. Thus, neither Peter Obi nor Ahmed Bola Tinubu has the needed national toga to emerge victorious: they are in the race to give it flavour and vivacity.
Atiku, having put together what we call an astounding cum teeming support across regional and state lines stands head over shoulders when juxtaposed with other contestants.
For those who wish to doubt this assertion, we urge them to examine the campaign rallies of other contestants and see the folly in their vocalised arrogance. Obi strikes us all as a man who mistakes social media noise for national support. He is still in the matrix of online agitation for Biafra.
Obi’s party, Labour Party, did not field candidates for various offices across the nation. The LP is a ghost in the North. After the very poor campaign rally staged in Port Harcourt, one can boldy say that Obi is in the race for any other reason other than winning.
Tinubu, on the other hand, sees occupancy of Aso Rock as a “right”, going by his “emilokan” mantra. However, the Muslim-Muslim ticket has become an albatross dangling on his neck, since the electorates see it as an attempt to Islamise the country. We have deliberately played down on his health issue in our bid to exude decorum.
Meanwhile neither Obi nor Tinubu had a blueprint prior to their declaration of interest – an insignia of unpreparedness for the plum job. Atiku is the only one that has always had a well written blueprint for development of this ailing nation of ours. Both Tinubu and Obi borrowed a leaf from Atiku’s blueprint. They have absolutely nothing to offer.
Thus, Nigerians need no further convincing regarding who is really ready to fix Nigeria. Ours is a nation leaking from various parts. Who we need is someone who is smart with the national toga and curative political experience. Atiku is the only candidate who is in the race for the right reason.
Nigeria will come alive again with an experienced and serious Atiku in the reins of power. Truth is, even the other contestants are aware that they are dwarfed by Atiku. Nigerians will vote en masse for Atiku come February, because what everyone needs right now is redemption.
