The Academic Staff Union of Universities says its ongoing strike would end in few days time.
President of ASUU, Emmanuel Osodeke made this known after a meeting with the leadership of the House of Representatives on Monday.
According to him, for the first, they have seen light at the end of the tunnel.
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila also confirmed that the strike action would be called off in no time.
Also, ASUU’s counsel Femi Falana earlier disclosed that soon the nearly eight-month industrial action would be called off.
Falana said this at the launch of a book, ‘Breaking Coconut With Your Head’ by Lanre Arogundade on Monday in Lagos.
