Management of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, IAUE, says there is no executive of the Academic Staff Union of Universities in the school.
Spokesperson of the institution, Dr. Ngozi Okeredu, disclosed this while reacting to reports that the school has joined the ASUU, strike.
According to her, the report is false and that the institution had never gone on strike, adding that they have no such plans now.
She noted that lectures and other academic activities are going on smoothly.
Dr. Ngozi also explained that the tenure of the institution’s ASUU chairman, had since expired and their election placed on hold by a court of competent jurisdiction.
