The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has issued a four-day ultimatum to the federal government, demanding the immediate commencement of the newly approved salary structure for university lecturers.
ASUU President, Christopher Piwuna, made this known on Thursday during a visit to Sa’adu Zungur University, Yuli campus, in Bauchi State.
He stated that the deadline takes effect from Thursday, cautioning that the union would take decisive action if the government fails to meet its demand within the stipulated period.
