The Rvers State Civil Society Organisation, RIVCSO, has reacted to the ministerial portfolio assigned to former Governor of the state, Nyesom Wike.
Chairman of RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill in a statement in Port Harcourt Today, said the position may hinder Wike’s future aspirations as he would likely accumulate more political enemies while performing his function.
According to him, the appointment appears more like a political checkmate.
He also said assigning Wike who is a grassroot politician, as Minister of Federal Capital Territory is a disadvantage.
