A multi-sector business mogul, owner of Aveon Offshore, Seametric Engineering, George Hotels, Daba and Orlando Foundation, and more, Mr. Tein George, has been urged to invest in Asari-Toru Local Government Area to boost the economy of the area.
The Executive Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. Onengiyeofori George, DSSRS made the call today at the official commissioning and hand over ceremony of Our Saviour’s State School Buguma, which was recently refurbished by Mr. Tein George through his humanitarian platform: Daba and Orlando Foundation.
The ASALGA Council Boss, who thanked Daba and Orlando Foundation, and its founder Mr. Tein George for this laudable gesture, added that “the renovation of Our Saviour’s State School Buguma by the Daba and Orlando Foundation has revived the general look of the school and also provided a decent learning environment for our children”.
The Chairman, ably represented by the Secretary to the Local Government, Bro Sele Francis said: “As a government, we are committed to provide a safe and secured environment for our people and we will continue to work with development partners to make our LGA a better place for all.
“Let me use this opportunity to appeal to my brother Tein George and the Daba and Orlando Foundation to continue to bring programs and projects to our LGA that will directly impact on the people. And also invest in Asari-Toru Local Government Area”.
He however, appealed “to the school teachers and students to make sure the facility is well maintained and put to good use”.
Earlier, Engr. Boma Princewill who gave the welcome remarks on behalf of Daba and Orlando Foundation, and Mr. Willie Joe who represented the Honourable Commissioner of Education, commended the ASALGA Council Boss for creating an enabling environment for private individuals and organizations to embark on this intervention project, which will be greatly beneficial to the people.
