Asari Dokubo has dismissed claims linking him to a viral video in which a man criticised Bola Tinubu over the country’s economic challenges.
The Niger Delta activist clarified that the individual in the widely circulated clip, who bears a striking resemblance to him, is actually his brother from Bayelsa State—not himself.
The video, which has gained traction on social media, shows the man dancing and delivering a sermon while calling on the president to step down amid worsening hunger across the country.
Reacting in a separate clip, Dokubo said those insisting he appeared in the video are individuals who harbour dislike for him, reiterating that the person seen is not him but his brother.
