The Asari-Toru Legislative Assembly has impeached its leader, Dada Solomon and his Deputy.
The leader and his deputy were impeached, after 9 out of 13 elected members who were present, voted in favor of their impeachment, during plenary yesterday
The House stated that the leaders were impeached for gross misconduct, high handedness and misappropriation of public fund.
Hon. Tubo Tamuno Oto was immediately elected as the new leader of the house.
