Chairman of Asari-Toru local government area of Rivers State, Hon. Onengiyeofori George is set to distribute 2000 pairs of shoes to primary school pupils in the area.
The council in a statement said the gesture is part of numerous contributions of the Hon. Onengiyeofori George led AsalgaFirst administration to support the educational journey of children in the area.
The statement reads,
Pupils in ASALGA will smile home tomorrow, as Hon. Onengiyeofori George will distribute about 2000 pairs of FREE SHOES to public primary school pupils in ASALGA.
The school shoes will be distributed by the Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. Onengiyeofori George during a tour of public primary schools in Asari Toru Local Government Area.
This gesture is part of numerous contributions of the Hon. Onengiyeofori George led AsalgaFirst administration to support the educational journey of ASALGA children with the aim of bettering their future and career.
