The Executive Chairman of Asari-Toru Local Government Area, Hon. Onengiyeofori George, yesterday commenced rehabilitation works on the failed sections of the major road between Kala-Abalama and Buguma City.
The move is in readiness for the burial of the late Amanyanabo of Kalabari, His Serene Majesty, King (Prof.) T. J. T. Princewill, JP, CFR, Amachree XI.
The lineup of events marking the funeral activities of the late revered monarch, which started November 1, 2023, is expected to climax on December 24, 2023, with a Thanksgiving service, sandwiching the final ascension rites scheduled for November 29 and 30 in Buguma City.
