The Executive Chairman of Asari Toru Local Government Area, Sule Amachree has reportedly signed a supplementary budget totaling N2,108,017,000.00 for the fiscal year 2024, following its approval by the Asalga legislature.
According to the Asalga News Directorate the ceremony took place in the executive chambers of the council on Thursday.
Dr. Amachree during the event emphasized his dedication to the well-being of Asalga residents, asserting that he will not allow external influences to hinder his commitment
He reassured the public of his adherence to due process in financial matters, highlighting that accountability is paramount.
He also said that those criticizing his administration would see their families benefit from the new budget provisions.
The event was graced by notable figures, including Rt Hon Clinton Opirite, the leader of the Asalga Legislature, and principal officers.
