The Leadership of the indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has directed security operatives to arrest anyone seen compelling people to sit-at-home on Monday.
Emma Powerful, Publicity Secretary of the group in an interview on Sunday, maintained that there is no sit-at- home on Monday, as it has been suspended by the group.
He said the suspension was from its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu currently in detention.
“There is no sit at home tomorrow. It has been suspended by IPOB leadership and DOS. Anybody seen disturbing people should be arrested,” he said.
He explained that the next sit-at-home would be observed on October 21, 2021, and whenever Kanu would appear in court.
