The Nigerian Army has uncovered 11 illegal bunkering sites during a six-day crackdown across Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, and Rivers states. Lt.-Col. Danjuma Danjuma, spokesperson for the 6 Division in Port Harcourt, disclosed the development in a statement on Monday.
The operation led to the arrest of seven suspects and the seizure of 13,600 liters of stolen crude oil, 4,890 liters of adulterated diesel, and 37,700 liters of various unidentified petroleum products.
