Arise Television’s Morning Show anchor, Rufai Oseni, has faulted Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, over his recent remarks following his reinstatement as governor.
In a post on his X handle on Saturday, Oseni accused the governor of being “bullied and subdued,” describing Fubara’s message as a “celebration of peace of the graveyard.”
“Fubara is celebrating peace of the grave yard, after he has been bullied and subdued. Peace is better than war he says, play back all his tapes for him,” Oseni wrote.
His criticism followed Fubara’s statewide broadcast on Friday, in which the governor urged residents to reflect on the lessons of the six-month emergency rule declared by President Bola Tinubu in the state.
Fubara had maintained that “the costliest peace is cheaper than the cheapest war.”
