The Faculty of Communication and Media Studies; University of Port Harcourt has congratulated, Prof. Godwin Okon on his appointment as the Director of Research and Development, Rivers State University, Port Harcourt.
Interim Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Walter Ihejirika in a congratulatory message described the appointment as “truly well-deserved.”
He also described Prof. Okon as a diligent and true bred academic, adding that his proficiency in teachings, research and public presentations have placed him on the highest rungs of academic ladder.
