PRESS RELEASE
Following a meeting of the Rivers state executive committee of Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard which held today the 14th of July 2023, the following members of BATS Vanguard drawn from the three senatorial districts of Rivers state have been appointed into the BATSV Panel of Enquiry:
1) Elder Fred Onungwe – Chairman (Rivers South East)
2) Hon. Noble Nwosu – Secretary (Rivers East)
3) Hon. Blessing Agbi – Member (Rivers West)
4) Eseka Sampson – Member (Rivers East)
5) Faith Zigga – Member ( Rivers South East)
They are mandated to commence with immediate effect a forensic investigation into the allegations of financial embezzlement levelled against Chief Tony Okocha, the former state coordinator of the group and submit a report to the state executive committee within 14days from today 14th July 2023.
