An appeal court sitting in Port Harcourt has dismissed a suit filed by the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, against the judgement of the Federal High court in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party and its Governorship Candiate Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
The APC had filled a suit at the federal High court, asking the court to direct INEC to disqualify the candidate of the PDP for allegedly violating the electoral Act but, the FHC dismissed the suit.
Recall that the appeal court yesterday also returned the Rivers APC on the ballot after its candidates were disqualified by a Federal High Court.
