The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress, APC, winner of the Ekiti State Governorship election.
The APC flagbearer polled a total of 187,057 votes to beat his closest challenger, Segun Oni of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, who scored 82,211
Bisi Kolawole of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, finished third with 67,457.
Oyebanji will in October takeover from the incumbent Governor, Kayode Fayemi.
