The Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted to the statement by Governor Nyesom Wike that another PDP Governor will soon dump the party for the APC.
The governor had made the claim after his Ebonyi State counterpart, Dave Umahi dumped the PDP for the APC.
The APC in a statement by its Spokesperson, Ogbonna Nwuke said, the number of PDP governors that will defect to the APC would be more than one.
“Wike has admitted himself that another PDP Governor would soon follow the example of Governor David Umahi. We want to seize the opportunity to tell him that the number of defecting governors after Umahi would be more than one,” he said.
He said wike will continue to mourn and cry as more Governors on the platform of the PDP will join the ruling party.
Nwuke equally noted that Wike, has converted himself into the Senior Prefect of the PDP, as he described the claims by the state PDP that over 5,000 APC members left the party for the PDP as “mere fabrication.”
