The National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress, has reportedly sacked its Acting National Secretary, Sen. James Akpan Udoedehe.
In a statement signed by 10 members of the committee, the party said Sen. James ceases to function in that capacity
The committee, according to the statement had earlier met and passed a vote of No Confidence on the Akwa Ibom State born politician.
The committee also said that Gov. Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, remains its Acting Nation Chairman, and that the Party’s convention would go on as scheduled.
Sen. James is yet to react to the recent development. He had in a statement few days ago denied being removed by the party.
