Reactions have trailed yesterday’s screening of Barr, Worgu Boms and Hon. Victor Giadom who are contesting for the position of Vice chairman South South of the All Progressives Congress by the party’s sub committee.
Shortly after the screening, a member of the party, Bethel Ogolo in a statement said Worgu Boms dazzled the panel with his scintillating intelligence.
According to him, the former Rivers Attorney General demonstrated capacity for original thinking and problem-solving, noting that he was a good ambassador for Rivers State.
However, in a swift reaction, another member of the party, Meinyie Commander denied the claims and alleged that the Erudite was bombarded with 40 questions.
He noted that the committee queried him over his alleged anti-party activities in the state, and that he was not allowed to take a bow with his 20 page CV.
He also said his competitor, Hon. Victor Giadom was honoured and cleared by the committee.
The National Convention of the party barring any last minute changes, holds on Saturday, March 26, 2022.
