The Emeka Beke-led faction of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has dismissed the LG congress held by the Tony Okocha faction across the 23 LGAs of the state at the weekend.
Publicly Secretary of the party, Darlington Nwauju in a statement said no legally valid Congress was held by Okocha and his men as claimed, in the state.
According to him, the judgement which reinstated Beke as Chairman and sacked Okocha has not been vacated, adding that there is no part of the APC in Rivers.
As you may the Tony Okocha faction claimed to have held its LG Congress across the state on Saturday, despite a court order restraining it from doing so.
