The All Progressives Congress (APC) has reaffirmed that Tony Okocha remains the authentic Chairman of the party in Rivers State.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, made this known in a statement, dismissing reports that a court had confirmed Emeka Beke as Chairman.
Morka clarified that the court has no authority to determine who leads the party, adding that there is no dispute over the chairmanship position, as the party has already taken a firm stance on the matter.
He was reacting to a statement issued earlier by the Publicity Secretary of the Beke faction, who had claimed that the tenure of party chairmen across the country had been extended to December 2025.
