The Emeka Beke-led All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has reaffirmed Beke as the authentic chairman of the party in the state.
APC Publicity Secretary, Darlington Nwauju, stated this in a press release on Thursday, insisting that a subsisting court ruling recognises Beke as chairman. He criticised the national leadership of the party for allegedly ignoring the judgment, noting that no order has been issued to vacate it.
Beke maintained that there is no division within the party, dismissing those claiming to be state executives as unknown to the recognised leadership.
