A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Sen. Magnus Ngei Abe says he would have left the party if former minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi had emerged Presidential flagbearear.
Abe said this when he appeared on Channels TV “Political Paradigm” Today.
According to him, he will not support the Governorship candidate of the party in the state, Tonye Cole because he does not have what it takes to transform the State.
He stated that Cole has never been of service to the state, and that he has no record of service.
Abe also said there is an allegation that Amaechi transferred money belonging to the state through Cole, noting that he was not part of the process that brought Cole as the party’s flagbearer.
On Peter Obi’s candidacy, he said: “Nobody can take away what Peter Obi is adding to the politics of this country.”
He also said Obi was Governor of Anambra State, and things he is talking about now, are not seen in Anambra.
