The All Progressive Congress, will at a Special Convention beginning from today elect its flagbearer for the 2023 Presidential election.
The event which will hold at the Eagle Square will see 13 aspirants slug it out for the ticket of the party.
Twenty-three (23) aspirants had been screened by the John Odigie-Oyegun-led screening committee to contest the primaries.
However, while submitting the report of the panel on Friday, John Odigie-Oyegun said 10 aspirants had been disqualified, while 13 were cleared to contest the primaries.
The likes of Ameachi, Osinbajo, Tinubu, Lawan, Yahaya Bello, Fayemi, Emeka Nwajiuba, Ogbonnaya Onu, Ibikunle Amosun, David Umahi, Badaru, Godswill Akpabio and Mr Tein Jack-Rich were reportedly cleared.
Tunde Bakare, Rochas Okorocha, Ben Ayade, Sani Yerima, Ken Nnamani, Ikeobasi Mokelu, Demeji Bankole, Felix Nicholas, Uju Ken-Ohanenye and Borroffice did not scale through the process.
