Governors elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday unanimously passed a vote of confidence in President Bola Tinubu and endorsed him as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 election.
The endorsement took place during the APC summit held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The motion was moved by the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, and was seconded by Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani.
The declaration was met with widespread approval from thousands of party members in attendance.
