The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress has been dissolved, following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari. The NWC was dissolved during a meeting called by factional chairman of the party, Victor Giadom.
Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad made this known in a tweet after the meeting Today. He said ”Following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dissolved. Details to come” Ahmad Bashir Tweeted.
Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege; Deputy Speaker Idris Wase; House Leader, Hassan Dogowa and the Deputy Chief Whip, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Nnenna Ukeje were in attendance.
Governors of Nasarawa, Niger, Jigawa, Plateau, Imo, Kogi, Yobe, Gombe, Osun, Ogun, Lagos, Kwara, Kebbi, Kano and Ekiti also attended the meeting, which had been described as illegal by the Abiola Ajimobi led faction of the party.
