A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has called on Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, to sack all appointees of the Sole Administrators who served in the past six months.
Eze said the Governor must ensure that no one imposes commissioners or aides on his administration, noting that even the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, had promised not to engage in such acts.
“I expect the Governor to sack all the appointees of the illegal Sole Administrators and ensure that nobody imposes anybody on him as his Commissioner or aide, even as Nyesom Wike has promised not to act in such a devilish act of imposition,” Eze said.
The APC chieftain also urged that all members of the State House of Assembly who resigned or worked with Fubara during the crisis should be reabsorbed into the Assembly “for peace to reign.”
He further appealed to President Bola Tinubu to reassure Governor Fubara of his protection against political intimidation.
“The Governor must be assured that he is not being set up for further embarrassment by the funny members of the State Assembly through any impeachment move,” Eze added.
