The Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area Hon. George Ariolu says it is not true that all taskforce are from the LGA.
Ariolu, who disclosed this in a statement over the weekend after the arrest of illegal Taskforce officials extorting motorists in the LGA, said anytime people hear Taskforce, “they say it is Obio/Akpor.”
He stated that people of the area are not known for taskforce duty.
Ariolu, noted that no illegal Taskforce would be allowed to operate in the LGA, under his watch.
He warned all illegal Taskforce Operators to desist from the act or face the full weight of the law.
The council Boss, had on Friday ordered the arrest of illegal Taskforce Operators caught extorting motorists.
