The Emeka Beke-led faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has declared that any vote cast for the party in the August 30 local government elections will be counted in favour of its candidates.
Spokesman Darlington Nwauju, in a statement, maintained that there is only one authentic APC structure in the state under Chief Emeka Beke.
He stressed that the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) is duty-bound to recognize and work with the duly submitted candidates of the faction, dismissing rival groups as unknown to the party.
Nwauju added that the faction is prepared for the August 30 polls and reiterated that every ballot cast for the APC would be credited to its candidates.
