Another Police officer identified as ASP, Michael Atodo has been reportedly killed by suspected herders in Ikwerre local government area of the state.
First son of the late Officer disclosed this in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt Today.
He said the incident occured on the 7th of September 2023.
According to him, the assailants stormed their residence on the said date and shot his father to death.
He also said his mother was abducted and released seven days later after the sum of two million five hundred thousand naira was paid to the abductors.
W gathered that the late ASP was the Head of Marine Police at Abonnema Wharf in Port Harcourt.
The state Police Command is yet to react to the incident. Efforts to reach Police Spokesperson have not been successful.
