The Special Adviser to the Taraba State Governor on Political Matters and Special Duties, Josiah Kente, has said that Governor Agbu Kefas’ possible move to the All Progressives Congress (APC) would accelerate development in the state.
In a statement released in Jalingo on Tuesday, Kente described the call for the governor to align with the ruling party as a strategic step to ensure Taraba’s full participation in national development and access to federal opportunities.
He stressed that the move was not motivated by personal or political ambition but by the collective interest of the people of Taraba.
According to him, Governor Kefas’ impressive record in education, healthcare, and infrastructure development deserves stronger federal support.
“This call is anchored not on partisan interest but on the collective aspiration of the people of Taraba for sustainable progress, infrastructural transformation, and inclusion in national affairs,” Kente said.
