The Emeka Beke-led faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has called on suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara to announce his defection to the party once he is reinstated into office.
The faction’s spokesperson, Darlington Nwauju, appealed during an interview on Channels Television on Tuesday. He stated that the APC would gladly receive Fubara if he decides to join, describing the party as “the best platform for him.”
Governor Fubara was suspended six months ago by President Bola Tinubu following a political crisis in the state. He is expected to return to the office on September 18, barring any last-minute changes.
