The Nigerian Police has been restrained by a State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt from re-arresting and transferring defendants in the murder case of Divisional Ahoada Police Officer SP Bako Angbashim to Abuja.
Justice S. H. Aprioku, the presiding judge in his ruling Today, also restrained the transfer of the case file to the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The matter was later adjourned to March 15 for further hearing.
The Police had arrested over fifty persons in connection with the murder of the officer. They are currently standing trial on various charges related to the killing.
