Elder statesman and former federal lawmaker, Senator Andrew Uchendu, has called on former Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to sheath their swords and reconcile their long-standing political differences.
Uchendu made the appeal on Friday during the official unveiling and launch of his new book, “An Invisible Hand at Work: A Biography of Senator Andrew Uchendu.”
Speaking at the event, he revealed that he has personally experienced greater favour and progress whenever he makes peace with others, urging both political figures to embrace reconciliation in the interest of Rivers State.
He also advised young people in the state to avoid engaging in political hostility or conflict, stressing that peace, love, and unity remain essential ingredients for development and growth.
