The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a man identified as Oron Oron for allegedly stabbing his wife Rhoda Oron to death following a domestic dispute in Oyorokoto, Andoni Local Government Area.
Police spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, disclosed the development in a statement on Friday. She said the incident occurred after a disagreement between the suspect and his wife, who was a fish seller.
Iringe-Koko added that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.
