Deputy Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Dumle Maol says Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule remains the authentic speaker of the House.
Maol in a statement on Tuesday said any other person parading himself as Speaker of the House is an impostor.
He called on Rivers people to ignore those claiming what they are not adding that the House is under the control of Amaewhule backed by majority of the lawmakers.
Maol also called on security agencies to be aware of the activities of impostors, as their actions are capable of eroding peace in the state.
