The Hon. Martin Amaewhule-led Rivers State Assembly, paid a New Year solidarity visit to ousted Rivers State Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Hon. Chukwuemeka Aaron, on Thursday.
Speaking during the visit, Rt. Hon. Amaewhule expressed gratitude for the start of the year 2025 and conveyed their commitment to the party’s leadership. He described the visit as a gesture of goodwill and unity.
He reaffirmed the Assembly’s loyalty to the party and applauded His Excellency Nyesom Wike for his outstanding performance as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), describing him as a “square peg in a square hole.”
In response, Hon. Chukwuemeka Aaron expressed gratitude for the visit, which he described as a great honor.
