The Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martin Chike Amaewhule, has commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for his leadership and political influence.
Speaking on Monday during the All Progressives Congress (APC) Local Government Delegates Congress in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Amaewhule praised Wike’s “exemplary leadership and political sagacity,” particularly during the recently concluded local government elections in the Federal Capital Territory.
He noted that Wike’s strategic role contributed significantly to the party’s success in the council polls and strengthened the APC’s national standing.
The Speaker also congratulated the APC on its electoral victories in the Federal Capital Territory, Kano State, and the recent bye-elections in Rivers State, describing the wins as evidence of growing public confidence in the party’s leadership and direction.
He further applauded the Obio/Akpor APC Executive Committee led by Barr. Leslie Ejekwu for its organisational competence and commitment to ensuring the smooth conduct of the Delegates Congress.
