The attention of my principal, the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule, has been drawn to a spurious, fake and fallacious social media report, wherein it was stated that Rt. Hon Martin Amaewhule has been elected Chairman of the Conference of Speakers.
This is a blatant and bare- faced lie, as such an election never took place to change leadership of the Conference.
The public is hereby enjoined to discountenance the story as it has no scintilla of truth.
