The Rivers State Government says all laws passed by the Martin Amaewhule-led Assembly since after October 27 2023 are not known to law.
The state commissioner for Information, Joe Johnson disclosed this in a statement Today. This was in reaction to a statement by Gov. Fubara that the Martin Amaewhule-led assembly does not exist.
Johnson noted that bills sent to the assembly by the state government was before their defection from the PDP to the APC.
He said since after their defection, no bill has been sent to them for approval, adding that the assembly is not recognized.
He also revealed that none of the four bills sent to the Assembly before their defection was passed into law.
