The Rivers State House of Assembly has accused the state governor – Sim Fubara and leader of the House, Edison Ehie of being behind the fire that rocked the assembly quarters last night.
Speaker of the House – Martin Amaewhule made the allegations in a statement this morning.
According to him, Ehie was on ground to supervise the burning of the Assembly last night on the orders of the governor.
He said the act was carried out to prevent the assembly from carrying out its legitimate functions.
