The People’s Democratic Party PDP in Rivers State, has reacted to Saturday’s Presidential declaration of the minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
Publicity Secretary of the party, Sydney Gbara in a statement, said the crowd at the stadium was a rented one, and that they are not worried about the declaration.
According to him, Amaechi has failed to attract any project to Rivers State since he assumed office as minister, adding that he has taken projects meant for the state to Daura, in Katsina State.
He stated that Amaechi lacks home support, and cannot win the presidential election even if he clinches the ticket of the All Progressives Congresss.
Sydney, noted that Governor, Nyesom Wike has what it takes to emerge president, as he has the support of Rivers people and Nigerians due to his performance as Governor of the State.
He called on Nigerians to support Gov. Wike to transform the country, being the right man for the job.
